Woolies now also have a 2 pack per limit now enforced on toilet paper and on analgesics.

I don't like to buy the smaller packs - they cost more per roll.
Sometimes yes sometimes no I certainly won’t pay $12.60 for 24 quilton or $12 for 24 Kleenex.

We always look for half price ones and most of the time the 10-12 packs still work out cheaper than full priced bigger packs which are not within our budget.

Amazing what they have and what they don't.

I had to return some margarine/butter the other day - a recall - Daffodil ?

They still haven't got a new supply in. Luckily its the one my son uses - not mine ... :) I use the one that reduces cholesterol.

I am also returning some eggs. We got down to the last 3 and when my wife looked at them - they each had a small hole in the bottom - like a small circle - a few mls.

I'm not suggesting it was deliberate - but they look identical holes - like a needle mark. Rabbits 21 Rabbits 21

Damaged eggs happen all the time unfortunately so don’t worry.

Yes I’ve had many returning that margarine too for the same reason.

Woolies Lamingtons are very nice - pack of about 8 - smaller ones. We had one with icecream last night - very nice.
Sounds very nice.

I didn’t used to like the woolies choc mud cakes but of late they’ve changed the recipe and now it tastes better than Coles.

I had lots of whinging customers last week about the meat prices rising.....

Have they - I always think they are pretty good - especially if you look out for the specials.

My favourite at the moment is/are the honey beef sausages. Really nice - especially the next day.

But the pork roasts are hardly expensive.

I’m noticing at my store currently not many specials on meat I’d say due to supply issues with Covid. Some meats have jumped up in cost by like $7kg. I’ve had an increase in customers trying to steal meat too.
