Getting pretty humid now we just turned the air con on.
closer to the coast so we get the "ocean effect" .
Just been a fan this year so far but the neighbours have had their AC on 24/7 since november.

rained lightly all night with intermittent heavy falls.
21 C and cloudy so far but if the sun comes out and it reaches above 26C it will be like being in the jungle as the moisture comes out of the ground

Wow you’ve just used a fan you must have a high heat tolerance we will turn ours on soon we are already sweating.

What will be will be when we pay the bill but it usually is not too bad.

yes the humidity can get bad but over all so far this summer it hasnt been..

we get the breeze coming up from the georges river across the parks so its good when the wind blows.
living near a park with a trees helps unlike those poor buggers who live cheek by jowl with their neighbours in heat sinks with few trees.

stifling isnt the word for it when its still hence the fan which is a 1970's model.

touch wood only needed the AC a few times in winter and couple of days last summer.

could always be worse...you could be having your butt frozen off in the northern hemisphere or stuck in sea ice waiting for an ice breaker to free you or be in another el nino year with empty dams and water restrictions

We set A/c on to about 25/26 and use ceiling fans. At times its almost cold if you sit under them. Fans are very cheap to run and easily covered by not using the A/c to low - ie 22/23. I know some people who put the A/c on 21 ... !

At nights A/c goes off - fans stay on - and all doors/windows are opened. Quite nice in 95% of nights.

O/cast today.

Got to give it to the good old global warming or credit where it’s due to natural climate change.
today is actually feeling a bit like a regular summer while parts of Japan that haven’t seen snow in over five years are up to their knees in it
