The Burgess interview once again proves the players had no problem with Seibold . It's just business to these professional sportsman. The only people up in arms were the fans who were listening to reported rumours and gossip. It's the same as club recruitment . The supporters know jack .... but will spend all their time on forums and elsewhere arguing about how much the club is spending . It's all quite laughable when you have a think about it.

Some people hated Seibold more than they should have because they expect our players and coaches to be as passionate about our club as the most passionate supporters, but those people will always get heartbroken because most players and coaches are not as passionate for the club they work for as the most passionate supporters. There are a lot of feel good interviews and articles about how our players love the club so much, but if they were offered a significant amount more to play somewhere else then most would have gone there, and I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that. As long as they try their best whilst they're here then it's all good.

Yes , that's right. It's a job and as with any job you want a good environment and the best money you can get . As much as I hate to lose them, I say good on them, make hay while the sun shines.

There are bound to be a few young guys come on strongly this year under Bennett's coaching. I'm going to predict Knight and Burns to be commanding big pay rises by this time next year.

That's likely RE, I was impressed with Burns in his limited game time this year and Knight is getting some raps from Souths supporters on other sites, he could end up being better than than Angus at a fraction of the price.

Burns is alright in the centres.
Correct it’s his defence that needs more work and he needs to try find what works for him to stop all these injuries that have hampered him thus far.

He started to win me over this season just gone in someways but I am not fully convinced yet.

It's good to finally have decent option for prop and second row at the club. Sam and to a lesser degree Turner are really the only half decent options we have there now that Clarke's gone.

The twins, Sutton, Murray are all better forwards than Turner and Clark.

I have said for a while that I'm hoping for 2019 to be Burns' break out year. He is more than capable too, just look at what he did in Round 13 in 2018 against the Sharks before he got injured. That was awesome!
