Some of Snorky's picks for his Origin side looked a bit odd but I did agree with his leaving Gallen out to run some younger forwards in the pack for the Blues

1 Josh Dugan
2 Josh Mansour Coote (great at the back and also, can score a try like wingers)
3 Josh Morris
4 Michael Jennings
5 Blake Ferguson
6 James Maloney Moylan (another fullback, but he can kick and also, he can run at the line)
7 Adam Reynolds

8 Aaron Woods
9 Robbie Farah
10 James Tamou
11 Beau Scott
12 Boyd Cordner
13 Paul Gallen (c)

Interchange:
14 Trent Merrin Hoffman (he's a worker)
15 Greg Bird
16 David Klemmer
17 Andrew Fifita Jackson (he's a worker)

These days many wingers eventually are fullbacks. The most gifted come from fullbacks to 5/8...for e.g. Lockey.

Bring in anyone except Gallen. He is a grub and if you listen to him talk he seems to believe its his right to play for the Blues.
He ruined Origin with his uncalled for attack on the head of Nate Miles although you have to agree with Sam Thaiday that his head is big and probably warrants a penalty:bag:

Are you Queenslander stanleyg? U have 2 heads Lol!

Actually, he's metres per game is very good aprox - 150-60 metres. Yes, a little bit of a grub in the games, but, some of the best players were grubs. e.g. Terry Lamb ..how many games - 320-330...something like that.

I am a Blues supporter and Cane toads are not high on my list of desireability.
Gallen does make good metres BUT in the interests of a good well moulded team that can take us into the future as well as perform this series he should be given his golden handshake and replaced by some younger Cockroach Forwards.
It is his arrogance the HE was playing SOO before the side has been picked is probably what irked me the most
As for Grubbiness he is more than a "little bit of a grub in games". He is in fact a very BIG grub and has been for a long time. I am still wondering who was paid off or why the NRL got a does of jelly back and didn't give him a holiday for his elbow to the face on a player who was already on the ground a few weeks back.
As for grubs in general I think Ennis is grub of the moment and I did say he could be the player to give the sharks the boost they need and I know it might be bragging a bit but it appears I was right:bag:

Seems funny to me that everyone expects QLD to win, but if you look at SJ's proposed Maroons side upthread, it really doesn't look all that, does it? Hardly a team of galacticos. Gagai, Feldt, Papalii, Gillett etc are run-of-the-mill NRL pros, Oates is a big lad who runs hard, and probably not a career winger. They still look heavily reliant on JT.

I don't but it would help if NSW bothered to show up this year.
