Complacency is a word that doesn’t exist in the Westfield Matildas vocabulary as they prepare for next month’s home-and-away Olympic play-off against Vietnam.

Ante Milicic’s squad take on the world no.32 Vietnam over two legs in March, with the winner of the tie booking their ticket to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Australia host the first leg in Newcastle on Friday, March 6 (kick-off 6.30pm), before the return match in Quảng Ninh Province five days later.

Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium is set to be bouncing as Ante Milicic’s side host their Asian Football Confederation rivals in the first match of a two-leg tie to decide who’ll punch their ticket to Japan.
