The Sharks are reportedly set to re-sign gun forwards Jack Williams and Braden Hamlin-Uele.

With Briton Nikora’s new deal set to be announced in the coming days, the Cronulla club have gone about securing their middle forwards.

Williams and Hamlin-Uele are both hard running forwards who are off contract at the end of the 2022 season.

Now the pair’s stay in Cronulla is set to be extended.

“When you cultivate success, no one wants to leave and that is what is happening down in Cronulla,” The Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio said on Triple M Breakfast.

“Jack Williams, he is a hard running front rower, very talented, he was actually in contention for the player of the year award down there at the Sharks last season such was the year he had.

“I expect him to re-sign on a new two-year deal, and that will be quickly followed I believe by the re-signing of Braden Hamlin-Uele.

So again Craig Fitzgibbon very much under a model of wanting to keep this collection of players together in the belief that the longer they play together, the more success they are going to have.”

He has issues now supporting his alleged drug using , drug peddling mum who had someone die from overdose at her central coast home and he spent the day in court with her.

Kade Dykes has also suffered what is a suspected ACL tear.
Of course he went to spend the day with his Mum at court I would’ve too if it was my Mum. I don’t think we can be critical on that.

not being critical of his attending court but being as close to his mum as he is it would play on his mind.....a lot and no doubt affect his form on the field.

Exactly, no matter how disgusting her actions were, she’s still his mum and he has every right to visit her
sort of like Mr Abbott visiting a wrongfully imprisoned Cardinal he had known for many years?.
