Penrith's Viliame Kikau and Cronulla's Andrew Fifita are set to miss crucial round 19 games through suspension.

Panthers backrower Kikau was charged with a shoulder charge on Dragons halfback Darren Nicholls in Penrith's 40-18 win on Friday, while Sharks prop Fifita was hit with exactly the same charge in relation to an incident involving Lachlan Burr in his team's 19-18 loss to the Warriors.

Both players will miss one game with an early guilty plea, while a two-game ban looms if the charges are unsuccessfully challenged at the judiciary.
Sharks prop Andrew Fifita and Brisbane forward Thomas Flegler have accepted one-week suspensions stemming from Round 18.

Fifita will also have 80 carry-over points when he returns from the ban incurred for his shoulder charge on Warriors forward Lachlan Burr on Friday.

If Woods challenge the fine and is unsuccessful, the fine will rise to $1500. His charge was the only one to come out of the opening game of round 19.

The Sharks will also be without a key player with young winger Ronaldo Mulitalo submitting an early guilty plea for a grade-one shoulder charge offence from a 17th-minute tackle on Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks during Cronulla's win at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday.

Mulitalo could have been out for two matches if he unsuccessfully challenged the charge at the judiciary.
