He'll be OK - you wait and see.
Certainly a strong looking halves combo. And some room to move with positions - eg FB, Halves, hooker, lock.
Where do we play Dufty ?
We once played Billy Smith in the centres - if you check out the 60s GF teams. And then we also had Slippery playing on the wing and halves.
too bad he cant tackle....or he could be the perfect "cookie" for the dragons at hooker.
They stole Cookie from us …
Hey! I heard that !!!
Bidding war on Widdop in the UK.
I'm sorry he's going - but not sad.
money talks , players walk.
Its just a part of the game now that you don't get too many players just wanting to play for a particular club.
Another good player will pop up and it s a way of giving an opening for younger players to see a future opportunity
You'd feel sorry for Dufty - but it might be good for him.
St George Illawarra Dragons have appointed Mick Crawley as the club's coaching advisor ahead of the 2019 season. The accomplished Crawley, who began his coaching career at age 18, has spent the past 12 years as an assistant coach with North Queensland, Newcastle and Canberra, playing second-fiddle to the likes of Wayne Bennett, Graham Murray and Ricky Stuart. He won the 2014 Holden Cup under 20s premiership at the helm of the Knights and received Coach of the Year award that season.
Dufty might be better working on skills that suit his frame in the modern game....Hooker, half, 5/8th but his defence is a shocker at the this stage and he started a lot of sideways running that he didn't do in the lower grade.
Hopefully he can come back to NRL level either at the Dragons or another club.
Not sure about Jack until his legal issues are sorted. Its a heavy issue to have on your mind while playing NRL.
Vaughan and Graham will lead the pack from the front but who are the offloads to support players going to come from? Ah Mau was developing a talent for it but he has now gone.
Leilua and Lawrie will need to stand up.
I was impressed with Lawrie towards the end. He outshone Luch.
Lawrie looked a little oout of his depth a few times but last years run can only be a benefit to his game.
Lucy is a big asset because he can play in the backs and forwards
I thought Lawrie looked better in the last few games than Luch. Played a simple forward game.
Latimore and Lawrie unlucky ? Other squad members: Mitch Allgood, Jai Field, Josh Kerr, Jeremy Latimore, Darren Nicholls, Jonus Pearson, Mikaela Ravalawa, Reece Robson, Tristan Sailor, Lachlan Timm
Separate names with a comma.
