Eels v Dragons, ANZ Stadium, 7.30pm (AEST)
Mary will probably play the same 17 but I feel he needs to make a few tweaks. I've said this a few times but now more than ever.
Aitken is not performing at his best and Nighty's time may have come. Aitken is poor in defence and others know it.
I feel Zac deserves a go and Pereira has to keep his spot. If Nene comes back it is a perfect opportunity to make the changes. Mann has to stay.
Our halves are not going well - Widdop just hoping it goes well and Hunt lacking in confidence since SOO. Mind you - a few forwards carrying injury from SOO.
It might be time to rest a few.
Well - Vaughan out injured - Lawrie in. Macdonald listed in 19 - so should play.
Otherwise same mob.
Bazza and I are both hoping for a win.
If either gets a loss it wont be unexpected such is the up and down form of both teams at the moment.
I still think of slow moving Mannah doing a great side step and then running right through the Dragons ruck.
It would have been a try of the season if his legs had not given out.
If we can't beat Parra we should give it away.
It's no gimme.
Yes basically what I said but I was more long winded.
So Gypsy now out - Macdonald in.
Gypsy out - Macdonald in. Hame Sele drops off, leaving Jacob Host and Zac Lomax as the remaining names outside of the current 17.
You lost your avatar again Bazz - I told you to stick it on properly …
If we don't win tonight we'll be fighting to make the 8.
It really is time - regardless of the result - we booted the coach and got someone better.
Bazza should be happy
Parra playing like a top 4 side rather than one chasing its 15th spoon. Great team effort
Learnt nothing and fixed nothing in their week off.
1 error and 2 quick penalties then conceding a try all in the first 4 minutes.
After that it was a litany of lax discipline with stupid penalty after stupid penalty including Mcinnnes getting sent to the bin.
More penalties and more tries conceded along with widdop off with a shoulder injury and still 10 minutes to half time.
20 nil and 2 minutes to half time.
Cant see a big improvement occurring in the second half as they are not the Choccy soldiers.
On the basis of this effort the Dragons are not only back sliding but doing their best to help it happen.
If I am going to watch a nightmare I will do it asleep so I am off to bed
I think they need to boot most of the team, the coach, the coaching staff and whomever it is in management that insists on defending on the retreat with bugger all offloads in attack. Hopefully the Ladies team will put in a better effort when they play
I didn't see this coming, will the second half be better?
Disgraceful performance against a second rate team. Penalties or not ( and both sides should have penalised - only one was) we are very poor.
Separate names with a comma.
