The Warriors barely escaped defeat by last year's wooden spooners.

With so many Kiwis in the Warriors rabble of a team, it's only a matter of time before the Kiwis too become a rabble.

On the up side, there were no injuries and it was the first season in ages where the Warriors started with a win.
