The Sydney Roosters have announced that their round two clash with the Manly Sea Eagles has been moved from Central Coast Stadium and will now be played at Leichhardt Oval.

The premiers elected to relocate the fixture following the NRL's decision to play all round two matches behind closed doors.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson on Friday said Test skipper Boyd Cordner would make his long-awaited 2020 debut in round three.

Cordner was rested from the World Club Challenge win last month and the first two rounds of the season to prepare the second-rower for another gruelling year of club and representative commitments.

Yes, I just hope that this does not signal the end of his and BMoz's careers. Boy, talk about bad luck. He had his best chance of securing that elusive premiership for it to be taken away because of something like this? That would be up there with Jake Friend possibly missing out on that Queensland hooking position in terms of bad luck.

Hopefully this season can be salvaged and they play on in 2021.
