Premiers Brisbane and grand finalists Sydney Roosters are set to appoint new coaches for the upcoming Holden Women’s NRL Premiership after confirmation that Paul Dyer and Adam Hartigan would not continue in the roles this season. Dyer guided the Broncos to the inaugural NRLW title with a 34-12 defeat of Hartigan’s Roosters in the 2018 grand final at ANZ Stadium but both have stepped aside to focus on other roles at their clubs this season.

The Broncos and Roosters are yet to announce their replacements for the 2019 NRLW season but are expected to do so soon as clubs are keen to begin contracting players.

St George Illawarra will again be coached by Daniel Lacey, who guided the Illawarra Steelers Under 18s team to victory in last Saturday’s Tarsha Gale Cup grand final against Newcastle at Bankwest Stadium. Kiwi Fern Luisa Avaiki is preparing for her second season as coach of the Warriors, who appear to be the furthest advanced of clubs in this year’s women’s NRL premiership.

ANZ Stadium should be completely knocked down and rebuilt into a 75,000 seat rectangular stadium with a retractable roof, but they should wait until the new SFS is rebuilt.

any rebuild should go a lot smoother than the old SFS.
Less NIMBYS and there isnt an election coming up.
BESIDES the NSW laborites still haven't chosen a NEW leader in all this time to stand out the front and moan.

Who#'s going to pay for that, then?
it was already in the sports budget that included both SFS and ANZ.
ANZ as it stands is an empty white elephant only fulfilling its capacity for use a couple of times a year. Even a reasonable crowd out there the place looks like hardly any fans turned up.
It was designed for the 2000 Olympics not for general sports and a purpose built ground capable of staging , afl, yawnion, soccr and league is more desirable.
Providing good facilities along with hopefully better access both public and private to it should attract more international sports events where aussies can justifiably sing our anthem.
If there had been another election looming Labor, the greens and nimbys would be out there in force to prevent it.
It may even be regarded as a sacred site or the winter home of the golden bell frog or some bogong moth.

The League has (had ?) the money - and with government support - could have done something.

I feel they waste money on too many things - especially wages.
