For Knights recruit Brailey, he underwent a knee reconstruction to repair ACL damage at a Sydney hospital last week.

The former Shark faces a minimum of six months on the sidelines in a blow for the Hunter-based club, who started their season with two wins.

The nib Newcastle Knights can confirm backrower Mitch Barnett is set to be sideline for three months, following surgery.

Barnett picked up a nerve injury in his neck during the Club’s Round 2 win over Wests Tigers.

They might have to bring back 42 year old Danny Buderus! Lol.

Tex Hoy had to be substituted at half-time of the loss to the Dragons with a hamstring injury and he is likely to be out for 2-4 weeks.

Five-eighth Kurt Mann suffered a head knock in a big collision 15 minutes into the second half and after he missed the rest of the game, will not be available for the clash with the Gold Coast this Saturday, as per NRL protocols.

Prop David Klemmer had his leg twisted awkwardly in a second half tackle with initial fears for a serious knee injury but was able to play on with his knee heavily strapped.

The club will also be without round three debutant Dom Young for a few weeks after the young centre injured a knee in reserve grade on Sunday, although in a welcome piece of good news fullback Kalyn Ponga is on track for a round five return.

Not a good result for the knights on the injury front.
They were certainly looking like a top eight side from their team make up this season but now??..its going to be a struggle.
How long to Ponga comes back?
