Hull KR (16) 32
Tries: Linnett 2, Coote, Kenny-Dowall, Ryan 2, Hall Goals: Coote 2
Wakefield (0) 10
Tries: Miller, Murphy Goals: Lino

Lachlan Coote helped Hull KR to a sixth straight win, their best run since 2009, with victory over Wakefield.

Rovers took advantage of the wind and a dominant left-edge to move to an 16-0 half-time lead, with Kane Linnett, Coote and Shaun Kenny-Dowall scoring.

Ethan Ryan added to the lead after the break with a double, but Jacob Miller responded with Trinity's first try.

Lewis Murphy reduced arrears further but Ryan Hall and Linnett scores put the game beyond doubt for the Robins.

Hull KR captain Shaun Kenny-Dowall will miss the Super League run-in after damaging a medial collateral ligament in his knee in Friday's loss to Leeds.

The former New Zealand international centre, 34, was withdrawn early in the first half after he went down in a tackle with an opponent.

Kenny-Dowall had scored four tries in 22 games for Rovers this season.

Meanwhile, prop Greg Richards' season has also been ended through injury, after he suffered a torn hamstring.

The 27-year-old was making only his fourth appearance since May, when he sustained the injury off the bench in the defeat to Leeds.

The Robins are three points off the top six and have a chance of reaching the play-offs with four rounds of the regular season remaining.

Hull KR full-back Phoenix Laulu-Togaga'e has signed a new deal to remain with the Super League club until the end of the 2025 season.

The 19-year-old formerly played rugby union with Leicester Tigers' academy before crossing codes in 2021.

He went on to join Hull KR from Keighley Cougars later that year and has since made seven appearances.

Betfred Super League
Hull KR (8) 26
Tries: Lewis 2, Coote, Litten Goals: Coote 5
St Helens (8) 14
Tries: Lomax, Lussick Goals: Percival 3

Hull KR recorded a first win over reigning Super League champions St Helens since March 2015 thanks to a dominant second-half display.

The first half was an equal affair, with a try from Mikey Lewis cancelling out Jonny Lomax's score for Saints.

With Matty Lees in the sin-bin, Lewis' second put the hosts in front and ex-Saint Lachlan Coote added a third try.

Jez Litten's score gave Rovers enough of a gap to render Joey Lussick's try academic as Saints slipped to defeat.

Castleford (6) 7
Try: Miller Goal: McShane Drop-goal: Miller
Hull KR (0) 12
Tries: C Hall, Parcell Goals: Coote 2

Hull KR beat Castleford for their fifth successive Super League win to move two points behind leaders Warrington.

An eighth defeat in 10 outings this season spoiled Andy Last's first game as Castleford's full-time head coach.

Jacob Miller's try, converted by Paul McShane, gave Tigers a half-time lead.

Corey Hall scored his first Rovers try to level and, after Miller replied with a drop-goal, Matt Parcell put Hull KR ahead for the first time in the game - and into a lead they did not squander.

Half-back Rowan Milnes will be out for about six weeks with a broken hand - a further blow to Hull KR, with England playmaker Jordan Abdull also out.

Milnes, 25, has scored one try in four games for Rovers this season and also played a game on short-term loan for game time at Wakefield Trinity.

He picked up the injury during last weekend's win against Huddersfield.

Former Hull FC and London half Abdull, 27, was ruled out for the same period with a thigh injury.

Head coach Willie Peters is also without full-back Lachlan Coote, who has a hamstring problem.

Back-rower Elliot Minchella has played half-back previously, while one of the Robins' hookers in Jez Litten or Matt Parcell could also deputise.
