Catalans (16) 28
Tries: Pearce 2, Goudemand, Langi Goals: Tomkins 6
Wigan (0) 0

Catalans Dragons made it four Super League victories in a row since their opening night loss at St Helens, as they ended Wigan Warriors' 100% start.

Mitchell Pearce scored a try in each half, to add to scores from Michael Goudemand and Samisoni Langi, while Sam Tomkins kicked six goals.

Wigan failed to register a point in Perpignan for a second season in a row, amid driving rain in southern France.

Jordan Dezaria and Kaide Ellis saw red late on as tempers flared.

Wigan's Ellis and Catalans' Dezaria were involved in a scuffle which saw punches thrown between the pair, while further pockets of disorder continued between other players until referee Robert Hicks called for order.

Warriors' flying start in 2021 was upended spectacularly with a 48-0 loss in Perpignan after a perfect five-win start. History repeated itself after four wins in a row came to an end at Stade Gilbert Brutus.

Betfred Super League
Catalans (10) 18
Tries: Yaha, Chan Goals: Tomkins 5
Hull KR (10) 10
Tries: Hall, Kenny-Dowall Goals: Abdull

Tries from Fouad Yaha and Joe Chan were enough for Catalans Dragons to beat Hull KR for a fifth successive victory.

The home side generally had control of the game and went ahead in a dominant opening quarter as Yaha was worked into the corner after a goalline drop-out.

Chan then reacted quickest to Mitchell Pearce's kick which cannoned into a post after half-time.

The Robins were level after first-half tries from Ryan Hall and Shaun Kenny-Dowall but paid for their indiscipline.

They regularly conceded field position and presented Sam Tomkins with three opportunities from the tee that stretched the hosts' lead.

Hull KR (8) 8
Tries: Crooks Goals: Coote Pens: Coote
Catalans (4) 20
Tries: Davies, Laguerre, Yaha Goals: Mourgue 2 Pens: Mourgue 2

An impressive Catalans Dragons comeback sucker-punched Hull KR, who lost their third Super League game in a row.

Robins' Ben Crooks rose highest from a lobbed kick to open the scoring, before Catalans wing Tom Davies finished neatly in the corner to make it 8-4.

The visitors were rampant in the second half, with centre Mathieu Laguerre running 80 metres to score.

Second-placed Dragons' victory keeps the pressure on leaders St Helens, with the gap reduced to two points.

The hosts started with great energy as Rowan Milnes lofted a ball in towards a retreating defence, which Crooks seemed to take by surprise as he got up to grab the ball and crash over the line.

Lachlan Coote converted cleanly and then extended the lead to 8-0 through a penalty with 10 minutes gone after Catalans were caught offside.

Toulouse (8) 14
Tries: Hankinson, Ashall-Bott Goals: Hankinson 3
Catalans (12) 24
Tries: Yaha 3, Dudson, May Goals: May 2

Toulouse Olympique were relegated from Super League in their first season at the top level, as Catalans Dragons won the derby to secure a play-off spot.

Fouad Yaha's hat-trick set the platform as Catalans dominated down the left side but Chris Hankinson cut the deficit for Toulouse with a try.

Gil Dudson and Tyrone May crossed to take the game away from the hosts, who faltered as their fate became clear.

Olly Ashall-Bott scored a late try to give the home fans some rare cheer.

Warrington-bound Catalans Dragons prop Gil Dudson has been banned for three games for a headbutt in Friday's Super League play-off defeat by Leeds Rhinos.

The Wales international, 32, was sent-off following the incident with Aidan Sezer, and received a Grade C charge from the match review panel.

Team-mates Dylan Napa and Mitchell Pearce have been suspended for two games and one game respectively.

Napa was charged for a high tackle, and Pearce for disputing a decision.

Both charges are Grade B, with Napa, 29, receiving no sanction on the night while Pearce, 33, was sin-binned by referee James Child at the time of the offence.

Catalans Dragons have been fined - and threatened with a ground closure - following the behaviour of their fans at the Super League play-off eliminator with Leeds in Perpignan in September.

The touch judges had to take evasive action as they stood behind the posts when Catalans were reduced to 11 men in the 78th minute.

Further objects were thrown at the match officials as they left the field.
