I made the shrewd decision not to. We are severely lacking in the pack and will continue to struggle unless that is sorted. Whether George Burgess is the (partial) answer to our problems remains to be seen.

Wakefield (15) 15

Castleford came from behind to ease to a derby win over Wakefield.

Cheyse Blair, Derrell Olpherts and James Clare went over for the hosts but Joe Westerman and Tom Johnstone crossed for Trinity before Jacob Miller's drop goal saw them lead 15-14 at the break.

Clare's second put the Tigers back in front just after the restart.

Trinity's James Batchelor was sent to the sin-bin for a professional foul and Ollie Holmes and Olpherts both went over when Wakefield were down to 12.

Distance has only made the Castleford Tigers' bond stronger, according to versatile back Peter Mata'utia.

The Samoa international, his team-mates and coaches have been isolated from one another for almost six weeks while the pandemic has put Super League on hold.

Sharing lockdown video diaries with each other is one way the Tigers have remained united in trying times.

Assistant boss Danny Orr will leave Castleford Tigers at the end of the 2020 season to seek new opportunities in his coaching career.

The 42-year-old had two stints as a player at his hometown club in a 15-year spell and was a Great Britain-capped international half-back.

He then moved onto the coaching staff under Ian Millward, and was retained under successor Daryl Powell.

The 27-year-old back-rower has been with the Dragons since 2013, but for a spell at Australian National Rugby League side Penrith Panthers in 2016.

Garcia was part of the Catalans' 2018 Challenge Cup-winning side, beating Warrington at Wembley, and has 27 tries in 146 matches for the Perpignan club.
