Australia's T20I squad to take on Sri Lanka and Pakistan:

Aaron Finch (c) Ashton Agar Alex Carey Pat Cummins Glenn Maxwell Ben McDermott Kane Richardson Steve Smith Billy Stanlake Mitchell Starc Ashton Turner Andrew Tye David Warner Adam Zampa
Pretty happy with that @Mega Stoinis being dropped made the headlines but he hasn’t been playing too well.

I'm glad they're playing the big 3 at the top of he order. Got to play your absolute best players to get ready for the WC. I think it will be just what Warner needs in particular - to go out there and just see ball, hit ball without worrying about it jagging about from Stuart Broad. He'll still be having nightmares until he goes out there and belts a bag of runs.

Batters often stay in longer when they try to score runs instead of just surviving, even if it is just regular singles. Warner looked like he was just trying to survive in the Ashes and he was poor. :(

Correct, this could just be the thing to get his summer going in all formats.

Sheffield Shield starts later this week I think, will be interesting!

In the 3rd ODI Sri Lankan women elected to bat apart from their opener who is on 100 unbeaten they’ve been disappointing, Sri Lanka are 6/178 off 47 overs.

I’d say we will chase this down inside 40 overs.

I just switched it on actually @S J it’s on 7 mate and the match is at Allan Border Field in QLD.

Sri Lanka made 8/195. Chamari Atapattu scored her 5th ODI century today scoring 103 and is their best batter! She averages around 31 in Women’s ODI’s not bad at all actually for a team that’s ranked 8th in the ICC rankings.

The Aussie Girls congratulated her on a great knock too.

Shame she didn’t get support as they could’ve made 230 or so.

If the Aussie women win today and chase this 196 we break our previous record of 17 consecutive wins in ODI’ in a row and will go to 18 in a row just three behind the record the men have which is 21 in a row.

@Mega @ALX22 @S J @RADICAL RABBIT in the 17 match winning streak so far at the top of the order Healy has played 17 innings avg of 52 with 6 half centuries and 2 centuries, she’s been pivotal to the streak.

Well the Aussie Ladies are in a hurry, maybe they have a date booked for early evening, or they just wanna go for a swim or they just wanna catch the first plane home lol.

13 overs 0/100

Healy 67 off 38
Haynes 33 off 40

96 to win and make history in the women’s game! @ALX22

Well the Aussie women break the record chasing the 196 down inside 27 overs, Healy woman of match and series award scoring her 3rd century and 112 not out off 76 balls. In the last 18 matches she’s scored nearly 1000 runs at an avg of 57, crazy form for a keeper.

Now takes her average to just above 32 I think as well.

Did you catch any of it?
Saw bits - Elyse lazing back in her pads - like she was at the beach. Very relaxed. Haynes played a dreadful shot to get out and they all laughed and said it was good practice for her ... she tried a reverse sweep over her left shoulder and got LBW - plumb.

A dreadful shot. I love the way they play - so happy and enjoying it.

Sheffield Shield started today! @Mega @S J

Labuschagne made 69, Burns, Renshaw and Khawaja did not make many.

Smith got a duck, let’s crucify him lol @stanleyg, Starc didn’t get any wickets.

Maddison not out 196, Harris made 116.

Bancroft failed, Stoinis made 61, M. Marsh 41

Head and Wade are batting at 4 for South Australia and Tasmania respectively, let’s hope they go well.

Yes you may laugh Rabbits 21 BUT I am sure Healy, Lanning or Perry would be just as capable of getting the 5 runs in Sheffield shield that the men champion managed.
