Cricket Australia announces 47 WBBL matches will be live streamed on cricket.com.au and Facebook
Network Ten has already announced it will televise 12 matches this season, up from 10 in WBBL|01, including four matches on the standalone opening weekend of WBBL|02 on December 10 and 11 at North Sydney Oval.
All of CA's live streamed matches will be covered by a four-camera set-up, with a commentary team featuring Australian legends Mel Jones and Lisa Sthalekar, alongside Jason Bennett and Pete Lazer.
The WBBL season will kick off with a free, weekend-long carnival of cricket in Sydney on December 10-11 at North Sydney Oval, with all eight clubs to feature and six matches to be played over two days.
Good weekend for the ladies in sport. Great cricket and brilliant Tennis final where I successfully predicted Williams to win
You even have the coming of Ladies AFL.
After Melbourne cup winner Michelle Payne ( more pain than payne) made her misogynist speech about equality I cant understand why the media made reports about two women jockeys falling and going to hospital.
In these enlightened times isn't a jockey a jockey
Pakistan have hammered fierce rivals India in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy at The Oval to claim their first major ODI tournament in a quarter of a century and complete an astonishing comeback in a tournament not even their most ardent supporters had expected them to win.
Pakistan romped to a 180-run victory on a beautiful Sunday in south London to win their first major title since the 1992 World Cup.
This is quite a win. No-one would have expected it.
Nice to see its not the same old teams in the winners box.
The Aussies bombed out probably because their minds were on how to squeeze more money out of the game.
While it was quite a win I will be more amazed when either Bangla or Zimbabwe are holding up a winners trophy
