the 7 telecast was crap but at least Griggs & Basil did explain that for the most part channel 7 was restricted to whatever the designated broadcaster gave them to televise so basically it comes back to "we had athletes welfare in mind" Beattie and his Comm Games Committee for doing such a crap job.
Apart from the sport probably one of the big highlights was those "non violent " protestors torching the games countdown clock
