Watching the Championship GF now, Sheffield Eagles v Batley Bulldogs and it's 12-0 to Batley at half-time, who despite only scoring one try, took a succession of penalties to lead at the break. But Sheffield looked much stronger in the second half, scoring four tries and a drop goal to win their second successive GF 19-12.

Is there promotion to the ESL this time around moto748?

Not this year. At the end of next season they're going to reduce to 12 clubs. Good thing too, really.

Where are Toulose situated for promotion into the Championship? Another question for you Moto, are the Crusaders being promoted in the Championship or a league below the Championship?
Not convinced that reducing the ESL to 12 is a good move. I think what they need to do is keep what they have build on it. Sure the bottom 3 to 4 clubs in the ESL aren't up to it at the moment but the RFL should be getting involved and looking at ways to help those bottom clubs out.

Well now the players (and the Wigan chairman) are saying they don't want to do the proposed measure, so I think maybe it's all in the air again. But the changes were supposed to happen at the end of the 2014 season anyway, not this one just finished. And yes, Crusaders will go into the Championship as Championship One winners. Don't know about Toulouse.
