Just a couple of suggestions. Would it be possible to view how many and who has visited the forum everyday. Also a popular piece of fun on rleague was having members usernames in the colour of their favourite team. Eg. Canberra fans were green, Storm were purple, Qld maroon, NSW sky blue etc.

I just meant the forum as a whole not necessarily individual sub forums. Just for example if 150 members and 200 visitors looked at the forum today, we could see those figures and the usernames of those members.

Ok now i'm with you. I can't see why not. I'll have a dig around today and see whats what with the forum stats.

Two new categories called “Opinion” and “Profile” could be put to good use.

The “Opinion” category describes a thread that 1) isn't externally sourced such as a News or Rumour and 2) doesn't have the fixed choices of a Poll, but instead starts out as an opinion and invites further opinion. For example...

http://whitelinefever.com/forum/threads/your-all-time-top-five-warriors.1068/

The “Profile” category would be ideal for threads about individual players and coaches that aren't covered by News or Rumours. Player profiles pages are a highlight of the NZW site. In the absence of such profile pages at WLF, comments about specific players or coaches could be added to threads devoted to the individual and / or categorised as Profile. Here are some threads that could be categorised as "Profile".

http://whitelinefever.com/forum/threads/feleti-mateo.87/
http://whitelinefever.com/forum/threads/bill-tupou.1369/

One further possibility for a profile thread would be that when the player/coach transfers to another team, the profile thread could then be moved to the new team's forum.

This is just my 2 cents, so feedback is welcome as always.

Cheers,
