A bit slower as they have less downforce to make passing easier and the racing more interesting. Will they be faster to drive or about the same?

Win on sunday, sell on monday is the bathurst 6hr production car race in April.that allows for incremental cheating or "rule adjustment"
while I was an ardent Holden supporter for some years now the cars have had no relationship other than name with cars you actually drove on the road.
Call me a dinosaur but I liked the days of "win on sunday, sell on monday"
yes BUT its not the Big Race nor is the Bathurst 12hour for those with money for a supercar ferrari, benz or mclaren.Win on sunday, sell on monday is the bathurst 6hr production car race in April.

Agree, it's all just about entertainment and personally I have disliked the supercars category since it's inception, the whole idea was simply to give holden somewhere to win by banning the likes of the nissan GTR and ford sierras.yes BUT its not the Big Race nor is the Bathurst 12hour for those with money for a supercar ferrari, benz or mclaren.
My point is car racing apart from a makers name no longer bears any resemblance to brand it purports to represent.
even the new mustang and camaro will be only fiberglass shells over a custom standard chassis more than likely so apart from looks and an engine they are the same.
