I have a GPS installed in my car. It is great - it has HUD etc etc. BUT - it won't show speed/safety cameras and /or warn when you are approaching a red light crossing etc. A previous GP a chepy - even had your speed go red if you went over the limit. I liked this.
Has anyone heard of a hybrid type system that can be used to overlay such a GPS ?

NB - I don't want to spend $1000 getting a new one.
I've been advised recently there is a brand new update - but I think it also does not include the camera/lights advice.

I got a new Ranger the other day and what stood out greatly, scanning the FM and AM radio with the preset touch screen. 1 hour trying preset the channels. Many years ago it was much simpler.
Under the bonnet, it's good and reliable. It's like smartphones with a truck with your mobile and navigation.

In 6 weeks time, I'm touring with the new Ranger. Far Nth Coast I will have to book a service for a 5,000 km warranty. I'm like a kid in a candy store. Every second day was clean my 4x4.
Pardon the pun but there is some water to go under the bridge before this happens, I have some serious doubts that this proposal is realistic.
