Race moving along as expected. No real accidents. A few minor bingles. amazing how they can change tyres, brakes set up and pads, do window, change driver, petrol etc - in about 2 minutes - and the commentators hint they are slow ... :)

Positions depend on who's in the pits and who isn't. Mustangs look good but Holdens holding their own.

Well - over half way - Holden in front - as it should be. BUT - plenty of pit stops yet.
I remember when it used to start at 10 or 10:30 am a few years ago, did not know it started at 11:30 these days!

I was always a Holden fan but I haven’t watched it last 5-6 years, maybe I’ll watch the ending later.

Who are you guys fans of?

Restart no.4: Whincup, McLaughlin, Coulthard, Heimgartner, Golding, Kelly, W. Davison, van Gisbergen, Jacobson, Holdsworth.

They usually have about 7.

Scott McLaughlin and Premat won from Van Gisbergen and Tander, Courtney and Perkins were third and Whincup and Lowndes fourth.

It was a drama packed day full of tension, excitement and twists and turns. In the end the man who had been quickest all week and started on pole held his nerve and showed himself a worthy champion, landing his first ever Bathurst win.
