Its almost here again.

Will it be the last one for Ford and Holden ?

Or will we see the 'Stangs and Camaro's taking over.

Craig Lowndes paired with Steven Richards to claim a fairytale Bathurst 1000 triumph.

Lowndes took the lead in the closing stages, passing long-time leader and reigning champions David Reynolds after the Erebus pilot struggled with leg cramp.

That left the No.888 Holden with a comfortable margin over Pye.

Chaz Mostert and James Moffat fell less than a second shy of the podium in fourth with Supercars championship leader Shane van Gisbergen fifth with Earl Bamber.

Garth Tander and Chris Pither came home sixth from Nick Percat and Macauley Jones, while James Golding and Richard Muscat brought both Garry Rogers Motorsport cars home in the top eight.

I reckon they should make racing more interesting! Maybe give the cars weapons! I'd watch it then! :D
