With the opening of the 2019 INAS Global Games in Brisbane just days away, the Australian Boomerangs and Pearls have arrived in Queensland to tip-off preparations.

Both teams travelled north on Tuesday, arriving at the BLK Performance Centre in Runaway Bay ready to hit the court. In hot conditions, the first pre-tournament practice sessions were held on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, as each valuable second of court time is utilised ahead of Sunday's opening slate of games.

The Boomerangs will produce one 5x5 squad for the games, while the Pearls have been split into two 3x3 teams for the tournament.
