THE AFL has formed a "game-changing" charity partnership with Lifeline Australia as part of its campaign to tackle the scourge of mental health issues.

MARCUS Bontempelli will lead the Western Bulldogs in 2020, with the club confirming that the superstar midfielder will inherit the captaincy from Easton Wood ahead of next season.
