If the referee deems a player guilty of a professional foul he should NOT put that guilty player in the sin-bin for 10 mins-----in many instances the supposedly sinning player hasn't sinned much at all, probably NOT at all in lots of cases---the ref. IMO should have a signal for the match scorer to penalise the offending team a try[ie. a gift of 4 pts ; or maybe only 3 pts ,this being as one point discount because the D/Head ref has probably got it wrong anyway]----but DON'T send the player off & have the game ruined as a spectacle for fools like me who still pretend they're watching RL-----on numerous occasions we see a 12 man team have 2 or 3 converted tries scored against them whilst their player is in Siberia for 10 mins---game over;game ruined------the NRL needs to come up with something to prevent these farcically ruined contests !!! The Cowboys/Saints game was ruined after 20 mins. when a Saints player was WRONGFULLY binned !! 3 tries scored !!
The spectators get ripped off ; the 12 innocent players in the team cop it,often brutally, for 10 mins. & potentially it's the last nail in the coffin for a struggling coach !! But who really gives a shit !!!
Of course,in the case of a head-high tackle[& other dangerous plays ] that puts an opposing player out of the game[ie. with concussion,or worse] than put the offender on report & hit him hard at the judiciary. Players won't get the message unless they are punished a bit more severely than they are at present.

AJ is heading towards being the greatest try scorer in the history of Aust. Rugby League.
He is sitting on 175 tries[I think]--not sure if his 2 scored against the Raiders have been added to Wiki !!
He was 28 yrs old this year in January,so,being the superb athlete that he is, he should easily be able to play as a winger for 5 more years.
The present record holder is Ken Irvine on 212 tries.
No. 2 is Billy Slater 190 tries.
No.3 is Steve Menzies 180 [not bad for a forward].
No.4 is Brett Morris 176.

Next is AJ on 175. He requires 38 more tries to overtake Ken Irvine's 212. If he stays healthy he will need to average 7 to 8 tries per season over the next 5 yrs !!!

The clown NRL refs have made their ghastly presence felt again in the Knights v. Manly game on the weekend---a Manly player gets binned in the 64th minute for what the on-field ref deemed just a penalty----the brain-dead video ref decides to override that decision & direct the field ref to bin the player-- the Knights then score 2 tries while Manly are under-manned---another match decided by a clown rather than the players----the NRL COMEDY continues----LOL !!!

SUAALII rubbed out for 3/4 wks due to raising his knees-----he'd been warned a few times regarding his running style which is deliberate & very dangerous----he put Reed MAHONEY out of their match with a HIA-----he's put the DOGS most valuable player out earlyish in the game then the ROOSTERS just scrape home by a miserable point !! An overrated player !
