The best Junior Representative Rugby League teams from Regional NSW and Victoria will compete at Morry Breen Oval, Wyong this Saturday at the CRL Under-14’s and 15’s Country Championship Finals.

NRL Victoria Under-15’s claimed their first Cup win since 2015 last year and will look to defend that title against Group 3 on Saturday.

The Under-14’s Cup will see the Central Coast Roosters play Group 6, after both teams progressed through their Northern and Southern Zone matches undefeated.

Group 6 will also feature in the Under-15’s Trophy Final with Group 2, while the Under-14’s Trophy will be contested by Newcastle and NRL Victoria.

The Plate Final will feature Illawarra in both age groups against Group 3 and Newcastle respectively.

A meeting of NSW Rugby League members on 18 October 2019 will be asked to approve a new constitution in a landmark move that would allow Rugby League in NSW to be governed by one body for the first time in more than 80 years.

The NSWRL and Country Rugby League (CRL) announced details in August 2018 of their joint vision plans to work towards a merger into a single entity by 1 November 2020, but both parties have worked together to make that happen 12 months earlier (1 November 2019).
